17YO Accused Of Harassment In Yorktown
The teen's name was not released due to eligibility for youthful offender status.
YORKTOWN, NY — A 17-year-old Yorktown resident was accused of harassment. Yorktown police said the teenager, whose name is being withheld due to eligibility for youthful offender status, was service with a criminal summons for the underlying charge of second-degree harassment, a violation.
Police said that, around 4 p.m. Feb. 6, officers responded to a residence in Yorktown for a report of harassment.
An investigation found that the teen touched the victim's thigh without consent, police said.

At the victim's request, a criminal summons was obtained from the Yorktown Justice Court for the second-degree harassment charge.
The summons was served to the 17-year-old March 4, and he is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court March 7.
