1st Day of 'Speed Week' Nets 73 Tickets
The detail was held on I-684 in Westchester County.
SOMERS, NY — State police conducted a speed enforcement detail on I-684 in Westchester in conjunction with the “Speed Week” campaign. During the detail, a total of 73 tickets were issued.
They included 57 speeding tickets, five seatbelt tickets and 11 other tickets for violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
“Speed Week” began Thursday and runs through next Wednesday.

Troopers will be using both marked state police cars and concealed identity traffic enforcement vehicles as part of the operation.
