3 Accused Of DWI in Somers, Yorktown

They were among 23 impaired drivers NYSP in Troop K said they removed from public roadways over the July 13 weekend.

SOMERS, NY — State Police in Troop K said they removed 23 impaired drivers from public roadways over the July 13, 2019, weekend. Two of the arrests were in Somers and one was in Yorktown.

On July 13, State Police from SP Somers arrested German Manzo, 45, of New Rochelle, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Tomahawk Street in Somers, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police said.

On July 13, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Joshua A. Donato, 26, of the Bronx, for DWAI Drugs, and Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 4th degree, both misdemeanors. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, when he was interviewed during a seat-belt safety checkpoint on the FDR Park entrance. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of drugs, and in possession of 126.4 grams of marijuana, police said.

On July 14, State Police from SP Somers arrested Nicholas R. Correia, 35, of West Warwick, Rhode Island, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 100 in the town of Somers, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police said.

In addition, two Yorktown residents were arrested out of town.

On July 14, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Troy T. Perez, 50, of Yorktown, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.

On July 14, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Byron G. Villa Morocho, 27, of Yorktown, for DWI. He was traveling on Washington Street in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
