On Friday, a Yorktown officer headed to the Westchester County Correctional Center and arrested Hernandez on the warrant. He was taken to the Yorktown Police Department and processed.
Hernandez was arraigned and released on his own recognizance for the Yorktown charges. However, he was remanded to the Westchester County Correctional Center as a fugitive of justice due to an outstanding bench warrant issued by Lackawanna Conty in Pennsylvania.
