5 Injured In Taconic Rollover Saturday
Authorities said three people were ejected from the car.

YORKTOWN, NY — Five people were taken to the hospital Saturday evening after a accident on the Taconic State Parkway. Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department posted on its Facebook page that a car rollover occurred shortly after 6 p.m. southbound on the parkway north of Underhill Avenue.
First responders arrived at the scene to find that three people, including children, were ejected from the vehicle. Two other people were injured.
No one was trapped in the car despite early reports.

Fire officials said numerous nurses, off-duty first responders and civilians stopped to assist at what was described as an "initially chaotic scene," according to the post.
Mutual aid was requested from Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Somers Volunteer Fire Department, the Peekskill, Croton, Ossining and Mount Kisco volunteer ambulance corps and Westchester EMS.

Initially, all southbound lanes Baldwin Road to Underhill were closed for about an hour, after which one lane was open, the Journal News said.
All lanes were reopened around 10:30 p.m.
