Accused Of Driving With Suspended License
Police said the woman had an auto accident in Yorktown.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Mahopac woman was accused of driving without a license after having an auto accident. Yorktown police said Kristen Carvalho, 37, of Mahopac, was charged with suspended registration, a misdemeanor.
Police said, around 1:50 p.m. Thursday, a report was received about a car accident on Old Yorktown Road.
The investigation found Carvalho's registration showed she was driving while her privileges to do so were suspended because of a lapse in insurance.

She was arrested and process at the scene.
Carvalho was released on her own recognizance and is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Jan. 9.
