Accused Of Driving With Suspended License
Police said the man lost his license because of the failure to answer summonses.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of leaving the scene of an accident Saturday, Yorktown police said Andrew Eidelson, 30, of Yorktown, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident and unsafe backing, traffic infractions.
Police said, around 4:15 p.m. Saturday, a police officer responded to a report of someone leaving the scene of an accident on Downing Driver.
Eidelson was identified as one of the involved drivers, police said.

A routine check found that he was driving while his privilege to do so was suspended because of the failure to answer summonses.
Police said Eidelson also backed up unsafely and left the accident scene.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters.
After processing, Eidelson was released on his own recognizance.
He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 6.
