YORKTOWN, NY — Two alleged scofflaws were arrested in Yorktown in unrelated incidents, police said.
At 3:42 a.m. Tuesday, a Cortlandt 26-year-old was seen speeding on Underhill Avenue, police allege. After he was stopped, a computer check revealed his license had been suspended on multiple dates for failure to pay a fine and failure to answer a summons. Charles Jacques III was released on $100 bail and is due in town court July 2.
On Saturday, a 30-year-old from Albany who was driving in Yorktown at 2 a.m. faces charges in Yorktown town court. An officer on routine patrol pulled him over for insufficient brake lights.

What he found out next was that Aaron J. Earle was driving with a suspended license. It had been suspended because he had driven while intoxicated, failed to pay the driver responsibility assessment, failed to answer summonses and failed to pay fines, police said. He was released on $200 bail and given a court date of July 2.
