Accused Shoplifter From Beacon Arrested In Yorktown
Police said she left Macy's without paying for merchandise.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 30-year-old Beacon resident is due in Yorktown town court July 2 to answer a charge of petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
Police said they received a call from Macy's May 31 saying that a shoplifting suspect was in the custody of store security.
They allege that Alberta D. Peals left Macy's without paying for $272.30 of merchandise.

After she was processed she was released on $100 bail.
