Accused Of Taking Family Member's Car, Driving Without License
The missing vehicle was located at another Yorktown residence.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown woman was accused of taking a family member's car without permission and driving without a license. Yorktown police said Krista Camacho, 21, of Yorktown Heights was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors.
Around 6 p.m. Monday, police responded to a domestic incident at a Yorktown home.
After completing the investigation, police said Camacho took a car that belongs to a family member without asking for permission.

Police also said the woman's privilege to drive had been suspended for failing to answer a summons.
The missing vehicle was located at another Yorktown residence and police made contact with Camacho.

She was placed under arrest and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
Camacho was being held pending arraignment as of Monday night.
