Yorktown Leos and Elks Host a Pancake Breakfast with SpongeBob and Friends

The Yorktown Leos and Elks Club members joined forces to host a buffet-style pancake breakfast for the community on March 3.

The breakfast was held in the Yorktown Elks Lodge, the two clubs served bacon, sausage, and, of course, pancakes. The crowd – from grandparents to babies – all agreed that the pancakes and the rest of the grub were scrumptious.

As the attendees, including Yorktown Councilman Vishu Patel and other local leaders, feasted, SpongeBob and his friends, Elmo, Winnie the Pooh, and the Yorktown Lion, stopped by to say hi to the kids and pose for pictures.

However, the community not only gathered for breakfast; all proceeds will be donated to charities for disabled children.
