Approaching Storm: Lakeland School District Cancels Activities Monday

SHRUB OAK, NY — As the nor’easter approached the Hudson Valley, schools and organizations are beginning to announce early closing and cancellation of afternoon activities.

The Lakeland Central School District said all after school and evening activities are canceled for Monday, Jan. 23, including Westchester Community College classes, due to this afternoon's and evening's forecast for dangerous high winds and icy roads
