Arrest After Domestic Dispute
Yorktown police said the incident took place on Linette Court March 4.
James P. Hunter Jr. of 2480 Linette Court faces charges of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors.
Yorktown police were called to Linette Court at 1:55 p.m. March 4 about a domestic disturbance. They allege that Hunter, 40, choked a Linette Court resident and tried to prevent the victim from calling the police.
He was served with a Temporary Order of Protection and is due back in court today.
