
Yorktown police report two recent arrests:
- A Yorktown man faces a charge of assault after an altercation at AJ's Bar and Grill on Compond Road. Police called to the scene after a bar fight April 24 searched for and found the 43-year-old behind an abandoned building near 3833 Crompond Road. Brian J. Amico was taken into custody and then to the hospital for an unrelated condition, police said. He was arraigned in the hospital and is due in Yorktown town court May 26. The judge issued a temporary restraining order to keep him away from the victim and witnesses.
- A White Plains resident was sent to Westchester County Jail on $5,000 bail after police investigated a report of a domestic dispute on Shelley Court April 27. Police allege that he broke the woman's fish tank and threatened her. Leonel S. Guardado, 40, faces charges of criminal mischief and menacing. He is due in Yorktown town court May 5.
