Book Club for Women with Breast, Ovarian, or Any Gynecological Cancer

At this session, The Rose Code by Kate Quinn will be discussed.

(Yorktown Heights, NY) Support Connection, Inc. announces the next session of their virtual Book Club. It will take place on Thursday, April 20, from 7-8pm (NY time), via Zoom video conference.

At this session, The Rose Code by Kate Quinn will be discussed. The Rose Code is a historical fiction mystery novel set in England during and just after World War II. The novel follows the experiences of three women who participate in Bletchley Park’s code-breaking operation, as well as their efforts after the war to uncover a traitor among their colleagues. Their stories highlight the social changes brought on by World War II, especially concerning gender dynamics.

Kate Quinn is the author of several historical fiction novels for adults, including The Empress of Rome series and The Alice Network. Please be advised that The Rose Code includes mention of sexual assault.
