Car Into Ditch Leads To Impaired Driving Charge
Police also charged the man with illegal drug possession.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Putnam Valley man who police said was driving under the influence of drugs was arrested in Yorktown. Police said Jeremy A. Levine, 30, of Putnam Valley, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.
Yorktown police said, around 7:19 p.m. Aug. 9, officers were sent to an accident involving a vehicle into a ditch.
On arrival at the scene, police said that Levine had been operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs.

He also was in possession of Xanax, police said.
Levine was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.

He was released on $100 bail to a responsible party and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court Aug. 23.
