Chance Of Thunderstorms: Yorktown's Weekend Weather

SOMERS, NY — After a glorious Friday, we could see some scattered showers on Saturday around the Hudson Valley.

"In the wake of that, we’ll see the heat build back toward 90°… and some slightly higher humidity levels for Sunday and on into the work week," said the guys at Hudson Valley Weather.

nymetroweather.com warns that some scattered thunderstorms are possible Saturday night and in the afternoon and evening on Sunday, as the heat and humidity increase.

• Today-Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s. North winds around 5 mph, becoming south this afternoon.
• Tonight-Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s. South winds around 5 mph in the evening, becoming light and variable.
• Saturday-Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
• Saturday Night-Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 60s. West winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
• Sunday-Partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Humid with highs in the upper 80s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
• Sunday Night-Partly cloudy. Lows around 70.
