Chilly Winds: Yorktown's Weekend Weather

But there's good news too as the weekend progresses around Somers.

SOMERS, NY — A blustery day in the Hudson Valley Friday, with wet snow showers actually possible in the Catskills. But the gusty winds (up to 25 mph) will push out the rest of Thursday's soaking storm, albeit with intermittent rain expected through out the day.

Under mostly cloudy skies, high temperatures on Friday will average 5 to 10 degrees below normal and drop into the 30s overnight. Then more spring-like weather will begin to appear, though Saturday will still see below average temps with gusty winds. Fair weather with above normal temperatures are forecast Sunday.

"Saturday and Sunday look to improve each day, with temps on Saturday into the mid 50s… and Sunday in the mid 60s," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
