CT Woman Accused Of Drunken Driving In Yorktown
Police said they were looking for an erratically driving car which happened to pull into the police department's parking lot.
YORKTOWN, NY — A woman from Connecticut was accused of drunken driving after leaving the scene of an automobile accident. Yorktown police said Nicola C. Gillotte, 23, of Danbury, Connecticut, was charge with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, misdemeanors, and fail to keep right, a traffic infraction.
Police said that, around 12:30 a.m. Aug. 11, officers responded to a report of an erratic driver on Crompond Road.
The vehicle they were looking for pulled into and stopped in the police department parking lot.

Police said their investigation found that Gillotte was driving while drunk and had left the scene of an accident.
She was arrested and taken to the police department for processing, at which time it was determined her blood alcohol content was 0.08 percent or more.

Gillotte was released to a responsible third party and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court Aug. 22.
