CT Woman Accused Of DWI In Yorktown

She was charged with two misdemeanors and two traffic infractions.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Connecticut woman was accused of drunken driving in Westchester County. Yorktown police charged Christin M. Hicks 36, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated–driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent of greater, both misdemeanors, and fail to signal and less than two headlamps, traffic infractions.

Police said, around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 2, a traffic stop was conducted on Route 6 at Mill Street for a vehicle that had failed to signal a lane change and had less than two headlights.

Hicks was identified by her Connecticut driver's license.

Police said she was intoxicated.

Hicks was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was additionally charged with aggravated DWI.

After processing, she was released to a family member on $100 bail.

Hicks is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 14.
