Domestic Incident Leads To Arrest In Yorktown
Police said a verbal argument began the incident.

YORKTOWN, NY — Police were called to a domestic incident that resulted in the arrest of a Yorktown man. Yorktown police charged Robert E. Brook, 26, of Yorktown, with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
Around 9:40 a.m. Dec. 26, Yorktown officers responded to a residence for a domestic incident.
An investigation found that Brook and the victim became involved in a verbal argument, during which police said Brook damaged property in the home.

He fled the scene prior to police arriving, but was stopped by police while driving and was arrested.
Brook was taken to Yorktown Police Department for processing.

He was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court where an order of protection was issued by the judge on behalf of the victim.
Brook was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court Feb. 7.
