Jan. 18: A Yorktown man faces charges of driving with a suspended registration, a misdemeanor, and four traffic infractions: leaving the scene of an property-damage accident, speed not reasonable and prudent, driving a car without insurance, and driving with an expired registration. He was charged after an accident took place Jan. 18 on Ridge Street. Derek Difeo, 24, is due in Yorktown town court Feb. 24.

Jan. 18: A Mohegan Lake man is charged with third-degree assault in connection with a domestic incident. Police allege James A. Mark, 30, threw a drinking glass at the victim, causing bruising and swelling on her wrist and a cut on her lip.

Jan. 15: A Mohegan Lake woman was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, after a property-damage auto accident on Route 132. Germaine Reitman, 42, is due in Yorktown town court Feb. 24.
