Dry Conditions Could Mean Spread Of Fire In Hudson Valley
The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement about the possibility of fire

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service is warning of the potential for fire spread in the parts of the Hudson Valley. The NWS issued a special weather statement at 5 p.m. for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester counties.
There will be enhanced potential for fire spread over the next few hours, because relative humidities have fallen into the teens to lower 20s.
Additionally, winds continue to gust to around 20 mph.
