Erratic Driving on Route 202 Ends in DWI Arrest for Yorktown Man
Police said he swerved from the double yellow line to the shoulder.
Frank J. Hardman of Yorktown Heights is due in town count Jan. 29 to answer charges of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and two traffic infractions: disobeying pavement markings and driving on the shoulder.
Police received a call at 10:48 p.m. Dec. 29 about someone driving erratically on Route 202. The officer dispatched to find the car saw the driver cross the double yellow lines and then swerve the other way onto the shoulder. He stopped the car. After an investigation, he concluded that the driver, Hardman, was drunk.
After processing, Hardman, 55, was released to a family member.
