Family Member of 3 Killed in 2015 Taconic Crash Suing County, Yorktown

An SUV crossed the median and went airborne, crashing into two cars and sideswiping a third.

YORKTOWN, NY — A family member of the three people who were killed as a result of a crash on the Taconic State Parkway in August 2015 is suing Westchester County and the Town of Yorktown.

Devan Mulvaney’s attorneys filed a lawsuit Nov. 14 that claimed the county and town were negligent, careless and reckless for not installing a barrier or guardrail between the north- and southbound roadways, tapinto.net said.

Mulvaney also sued Westchester Medical Center where his father died a month after the crash, claiming the hospital contributed to his death by performing an unnecessary procedure.
