Give Blood In Yorktown: Help Your Neighbors
Giving blood is one of the easiest volunteer activities.
YORKTOWN, NY — A blood drive scheduled for Oct. 14 in Yorktown is co-sponsored by Assemblyman Kevin Byrne, the American Red Cross and the AFC Urgent Care.
The event will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Albert A. Capellini Community and Cultural Center Gym at 1974 Commerce Street, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
To schedule an appointment, please call 1-800-Red-Cross or visit www.RedCrossBlood.org and use the sponsor code "Yorktown." Appointments are recommended and walk-ins will only be taken if there is room.

To donate you must:
- Bring valid photo or signature identification
- Weigh at least 110 lbs
- Be age 16-75 (16 year-olds must have permission slip)
- Eat well and be hydrated prior to an appointment
- Can donate 3 months after getting tattoo in NYS
