Glorious Food, Film, Chefs at Movie/Tasting Event April 21
It's the 6th annual screening/tasting event co-hosted by the Yorktown SEPTA and district Wellness program.
All community members are invited to participate in Yorktown’s SEPTA and Wellness sixth movie screening / farm-to-table tasting event.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. April 21 at the Yorktown High School auditorium with the showing of “Symphony of the Soil,” an artistic exploration of the elaborate relationships and mutuality between soil, water, the atmosphere, plants and animals.
The film also examines human relationships with soil, use and misuse of soil in agriculture, deforestation and development, and the latest scientific research on soil’s key role in ameliorating the most challenging environmental issues of our time.
