Harassment Charge Leads To Criminal Summons
Police said a man left 25 messages on the victim's voicemail.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Cortlandt Manor man was served with a criminal summons because of a harassment charge. Yorktown police said Anthony Cassone, 55, of Wheeler Drive in Cortlandt Manor was served June 28 for an underlying charge of second-degree harassment.
Police responded April 16 to an East Main Street address for a report of harassment and conducted an investigation.
Between Jan. 17 and June 17, Cassone allegedly left about 25 messages on the victim’s voicemail system.

Police said messages “served no legitimate purpose and caused the victim annoyance and alarm.”
Cassone is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court July 12.
