Hazy, Hot and Humid Back Too Soon: Yorktown's Work Week Weather

Enjoy the low humidity while you can — which should be a couple of days, forecasters say.

"It won’t be until Wednesday when we’ll see a surge in the heat and humidity once again," says Bill Potter from Hudson Valley Weather. "From Wednesday thru Friday… we’re looking at highs close to 90° and heat index (real feel) temperatures well into the 90s. So the 1st half of the week looks wonderful… the 2nd half looks ugly."

AccuWeather meteorologists warn those engaging in strenuous activities to take the necessary precautions to avoid suffering from a heat-related illness.

Unfortunately, the higher humidity doesn't mean we'll be seeing significant rain. However, there are slight chances for showers later in the week.
