Hot Chocolate Weather: the Weekend in Yorktown

Planning to put up decorations or pick out a tree? Here's what you need to know about conditions around Somers and Yorktown.

YORKTOWN, NY — The weather will be more settled this weekend, but chilly, as we rush into December.

"This air is by no means arctic… but cool enough to generate some scattered flurries in sprinkles in the Catskills," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "We could see a sprinkle or flurry in the HV, but more likely on Saturday than Friday...by Sunday, we could see highs in the low 40s."

So dress warmly if you're putting up lights, picking out a tree, caroling, or enjoying a walk on one of the Hudson Valley's many trails.
