Hudson Valley Weather: Strong To Severe Thunderstorms Wednesday
The National Weather Service says an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out today for parts of the region. Here are the new weather updates.

The National Weather Service said there is a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms Wednesday across the Hudson Valley, and they add that an isolated tornado or water spout cannot be ruled out completely in parts of the region.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday should see some relief in severe weather for the lower Hudson Valley. However, the mid-Hudson Valley will still have chances of thunderstorms through Saturday.
For Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties, a hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Wednesday that said there is a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday into Wednesday night, with a slight risk for severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening across the majority of the region. The main threat with any storms will be gusty winds. An isolated tornado also cannot be ruled out.
