SOMERS, NY — The unseasonable warmth of Thursday and Friday won't last. A cold front coming in Friday night will make Saturday temps feel like fall. It'll be milder on Sunday, but then temps drop moving into the work week.
"Highs on Saturday likely only climbing into the mid 50s… which is right on track for this time of year," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "So after a month of very warm temperatures (October was 7.5° above average in Poughkeepsie)… we’re beginning to see Mother Nature try and balance the scale to start November."

- Today-Partly sunny. Isolated showers this afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming west with gusts up to 20 mph this afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.
- Tonight-Partly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Cooler with lows in the upper 30s. North winds 10 to 15 mph.
- Saturday-Mostly sunny. Cooler with highs in the mid 50s. Northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming east in the afternoon.
- Saturday Night-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers in the evening, then showers likely after midnight. Lows in the mid 40s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
- Sunday-Cloudy. Showers likely, mainly in the morning. Highs in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
- Sunday Night-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers in the evening. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. Chance of rain 40 percent.
