It's Not Too Late to Get Involved-Support Connection's Support-A-Walk

(Yorktown Heights, NY) Support Connection, Inc., a not-for-profit organization offering free support services to people affected by breast, ovarian, or gynecological cancer, says it’s not too late to get involved with their 2022 Support-A-Walk for Breast & Ovarian Cancer, scheduled for Sunday, October 2 at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights, NY.

There are many ways to get involved! You can raise funds alone or as part of a Team. Ask friends and family to donate by setting up a fundraising page or asking for donations via cash or check. The Support-A-Walk was founded twenty-eight years ago by local residents as a way to focus attention on breast and ovarian cancer, and to raise funds for Support Connection’s free, year-round support services for those living with these diseases. Since the organization was founded in 1996, many thousands of people locally and across the country have received help from Support Connection. You can join Support Connection at FDR Park or “walk” and raise funds wherever you are.

The Support-A-Walk is Support Connection’s most important annual fundraiser. 88¢ of every dollar donated directly funds their free breast, ovarian, and gynecological cancer support services. Support Connection does not receive funds from any national cancer organizations including Relay for Life, Susan G. Komen, or Making Strides.
