Justice Gary J. Raniolo Announces Re-Election Bid

Every day it seems we learn of serious challenges to the concept of law and order in our country. And unfortunately, right here in Yorktown. Although the scourge of COVID is largely behind us, the resultant backlog of court cases presents a significant challenge. Never before has the need for an experienced jurist been greater.
It is against this backdrop that I am announcing my candidacy for re-election as a Yorktown Town Justice. My experience as an Assistant District Attorney serving under the well-respected District Attorney, Carl Vergari, and my almost 12 years on the Yorktown bench, has given me the experience and judicial temperament necessary to deal with the challenging legal landscape we experience today.
I would like to thank my court staff, my family, especially my wife Georgeann, and you the citizens of Yorktown, our wonderful community. I pledge to maintain the highest ethical and judicial standards by which I have comported myself since you first entrusted me with this responsibility. Your faith and trust are sincerely most appreciated.
