Knifepoint Robbery in Yorktown Friday; Police Make Arrest
Officers say they recovered the stolen property and a knife.
Yorktown police were called to Railroad Park at about 8 p.m. Friday by a man who said he had just been robbed at knifepoint near the Underhill Apartments.
Officers obtained a description of the robber from the victim and an eyewitness.
They located a man who matched that description near 240 Underhill Ave.

Ramon Morales, of 240 Underhill Ave., was arrested and taken to Yorktown Police Headquarters.
Police sought and obtained a search warrant for his apartment. They allege they found the property reported stolen and a knife used in the robbery.

Morales was held overnight pending Saturday morning arraignment.
