Living With Ovarian Cancer - an Open Discussion
Open to women nationwide living with ovarian cancer, providing a safe space to talk with others who have similar concerns and questions.

(Yorktown Heights, NY) Support Connection, Inc. announces a free program: Living With Ovarian Cancer – an Open Discussion will be held via ZOOM video conference on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 7 – 8 pm (NY time).
Open to women nationwide, who are living with a diagnosis of ovarian or gynecological cancer. Pre-registration is required. To register, call Support Connection, 914-962-6402 or 800-532-4290. Must register no later than 5 pm (NY time) on Monday September 19th.
After an Ovarian Cancer diagnosis there are many concerns and challenges that arise. Join this open discussion to connect with others diagnosed with ovarian and gynecological cancer and discuss issues such as: Managing side-effects, Pelvic Health / Sexuality, Staying educated on what’s new for Ovarian Cancer, Mental & emotional health, Living with the fear of recurrence, Bone Health. All topics of interest are welcome.

This open discussion group provides a safe space to talk with other women experiencing similar concerns and questions. This is not an educational program; there will not be any professionals speaking about the medical or psychosocial aspects of cancer. This Open Discussion presents a valuable opportunity to connect with others with similar concerns who understand the challenges. It also offers an opportunity to share information, resources, and coping strategies.
This discussion will be facilitated by a Support Connection Peer Counselor whose experience includes an ovarian cancer diagnosis.
