Mahopac Man Accused Of Having Crack Cocaine
Police said they spotted the man acting suspiciously in a van in a parking lot.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mahopac man was arrested for allegedly having crack cocaine. Yorktown police said Robert McGulgan, 60, of Mountain Drive in Mahopac, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
Around 2:20 p.m. Aug. 1, a plainclothes officer saw a van in the Jefferson Valley Mall parking lot with McGulgan inside the van acting suspiciously.
Officers approached the van and found that McGulgan had a quantity of crack cocaine.

He was arrested and taken to Yorktown Police Department for processing
McGulgan was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and released on his own recognizance.

He is due back in court Aug. 16.
