Mahopac Man Accused Of Violating Orders Of Protection

The initial call was to investigate a report of a domestic dispute.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mahopac man was accused of violating an order of protection.

The Yorktown Police Department said, around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a Yorktown residence to investigate a domestic dispute.

Police said Steven Wojtusiak, 52, of Mahopac, violated the stay-away provision of two duly served temporary orders of protection.

He was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, misdemeanors.

Wojtusiak was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $25,000 bond.

He is scheduled to reappear in court Feb. 18.
