The Yorktown Police Department said, around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a Yorktown residence to investigate a domestic dispute. Police said Steven Wojtusiak, 52, of Mahopac, violated the stay-away provision of two duly served temporary orders of protection. He was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, misdemeanors. Wojtusiak was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in court Feb. 18.<hr /><a href="https://patch.com/new-york/pelham/find-hudson-valley-patches-facebook-pages" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Like Hudson Valley Patches' Facebook Pages</a>.

Professors David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman and Beverly Gage will take the stage at the new Wachenheim Center to examine the history of the nation-state and the contested nature of American national identity.
