Mahopac Man with Adderall Faces Felony Charge: Yorktown Police

He was pulled over for a traffic stop.

On routine patrol at 4:51 p.m. March 30, a Yorktown police officer on Lee Boulevard stopped a car with what he described as illegally tinted windows.

The driver, identified as Michael Evans Jr., 31, was found in possession of 4.7 grams of Adderall, police said.

Adderall is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy is often misused recreationally, where it carries a high risk of drug addiction.
