Mahopac Woman Drives Without License: PM

She was arrested after police conducted a traffic stop.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mahopac woman was arrested for driving without a license. Yorktown police said Kayla Boniello, 24, of Mahopac, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and fail to use signal and speed not reasonable or prudent, violations.

According to the police, officers conducted a traffic stop around 1:40 p.m. July 17 on Boniello's car on Sagamore Avenue. Police said she failed to signal and was driving at "an unreasonable speed."

A check of her license found she was driving while the license had been suspended for failure to answer several summonses, police said.
