
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man is facing a felony drug charge after being accused of having more than a half pound of pot. Yorktown police said Michael E. Martelli, 25, of Yorktown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony.
Police said, around 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30, an officer on routine patrol saw a suspicious vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.
An investigation found that Martelli, who was the driver of the car, had marijuana in excess of 8 ounces.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters.
After being processed, he was released on $250 bail.

Martelli is due back in Yorktown Justice Court March 7.
