Man Arrested For Choking Victim: Police

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mohegan Lake man was arrested for allegedly trying to choke someone. Yorktown police said Thomas D. Fazio,, 34, of Mohegan Lake, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor.

Police said, around 1:55 a.m. Jan. 8, officers responded to a report of a domestic incident at a Yorktown residence.

An investigation found that Fazio had applied pressure to the throat of the victim with both hands which kept the victim from breathing normally, police said.

He was arrested at the scene and taken to Yorktown Police Department for processing.
