Man Accused Of Exposing Himself In Yorktown
Police later found him committing traffic infractions, including speeding.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown Heights man was arrested July 28 after being accused of exposing himself to a woman and a child. Yorktown police said Michael Damato, 59, of Gomer Street in Yorktown Heights, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, exposure of a person, a violation, and three traffic infractions.
Police said around 7:09 p.m. July 28 they received a report of a man exposing himself in a parking lot by CVS.
An investigation found that Damato, who was parked in the parking lot, stood outside his car facing the woman and child with his shorts down to his knees, exposing his penis.

Officers found him later in his vehicle on Route 6 where he was driving a car with inadequate headlights, speeding and not staying in his lane.
Damato was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.

He was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Damato is next scheduled to appear in court Aug. 7.
