Man Drives Car into the Woods While Drunk: Police
The accused faces two misdemeanor charges.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 38-year-old Yorktown man has been accused of driving drunk.
On October 1, around 12:30 a.m., Yorktown police said they were called to the intersection of Route 129 and Underhill Avenue for a vehicle that had gone off the roadway into the woods.
When police got there, they found Ryan D. May standing by the car.

An investigation at the scene found that May had been driving the car while intoxicated, police said.
He was arrested and taken to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing.

May was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.18 percent or more, both misdemeanors.
He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court October 13.
