YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of stealing from Lowe's in June. Yorktown police said Scott Guinee, 55, of Yorktown, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Police said an officer was sent June 27 for a theft that happened five days earlier.
An investigation found Guinee stole $1,148 worth of merchandise from Lowe's, police said.

Guinee was identified and turned himself in to Yorktown Police Department July 18.
He was processed and released on his own recognizance.
