Mohegan Lake Man Arrested For Defrauding 2 Yorktown Business Employees
The alleged incidents happened more than two years ago.

YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown Police arrested a Mohegan Lake man for defrauding employees of two businesses dating back a couple years. Police said Scott A. Day, 49, of Panorama Driver in Mohegan Lake, was charged with second-degree scheme to defraud, misdemeanor.
Between Jan. 29, 2015, and Jan. 31, 2015, an unidentified man took a total of $198 from employees of two Yorktown businesses under false pretenses.
An investigation found that Day was the suspect, police said.

Police were unable to locate him, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
After further investigation, Day agreed to appear voluntarily at police headquarters Oct. 5.

He was arrested and arraigned on the charge, after which he was released on $1,000 bail.
Day is scheduled to appear next in Yorktown Court Oct. 17.
