Mohegan Lake Man Faces Felony Charges In Yorktown

He turned himself in on Tuesday, after police had applied for an arrest warrant over the November incident.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mohegan Lake resident faces felony charges for burglary and robbery after a reported assault.

Yorktown police have been investigating the case since November. At 2:14 a.m. Nov. 1, officers were called to a Yorktown residence. Police allege that Anthony Vukel had unlawfully entered, stolen property and caused physical injury to the victim.

Initial attempts to locate Vukel were unsuccessful, police said, so an arrest warrant was applied for and issued by the Yorktown Justice Court.
