Mohegan Lake Teen Arrested For Leaving Accident Scene
Police also said he was driving while his license was suspended.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 17-year-old Mohegan Lake resident has been arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. Yorktown Police said the person, whose name is being withheld due to possible eligibility for youthful offender status, was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury motor vehicle accident and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, misdemeanors.
Police said that around 6:54 p.m. Nov. 16 an officer saw a car accident where there were injuries with one of the vehicles leaving the scene.
After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle was located and identified.

A computer check revealed that the 17-year-old was driving while his New York driving privileges were suspended.
He was arrested and released on $200 bail to a parent.

The teen is due back in Yorktown Justice Court Dec. 14.
