Here are the details for a busy May weekend around Somers.

SOMERS, NY -- Cooler and unsettled weather may disrupt many plans Saturday and Sunday across the Hudson Valley. But don't despair. By middday Sunday, the storm front will be heading out and things may clear up.

"By Mother’s Day, the front will have sunk far enough south that dry, nice weather will expand south at least into northern Pennsylvania, and perhaps as far south as New York City later in the day," said AccuWeather Meteorologist Bill Deger.

  • Saturday-Showers likely in the morning, then occasional showers with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.
  • Saturday Night-Showers likely with isolated thunderstorms in the evening, then a chance of showers after midnight. Lows in the upper 40s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
  • Sunday0Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers, mainly in the morning. Highs in the lower 60s. Northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of rain 30 percent.
