Mount Kisco Man Accused of Drunk Driving in Yorktown

Police allege the unlicensed driver was driving erratically when stopped.

Fredy E. Umana-Contreras, 38, of Mount Kisco, is due in Yorktown town court April 28 in connection with an incident at 11 p.m. Sunday on Hanover Street.

An officer on routine patrol saw a Toyota southbound on Hanover and failing to stay in its lane.

During the subsequent traffic stop, the officer noted signs that Umana-Contreras was intoxicated, police said.

In addition to the DWI charges, he was issued tickets for failure to maintain lane, unlicensed operation and obstructed view. He was released to a family member on $175 cash bail.
